What Life in Space Can Teach Us About Our Planet

We are delighted to welcome astronaut, aquanaut, and artist Nicole Stott, and Christina Korp from Space for a Better World, for a session that will explore how space exploration is helping to address some of Earth's greatest challenges.

In conversion with Portia, Nicole will share her experiences from 104 days in space, reflecting on how life beyond our planet provides a unique vantage point to understand the fragility of Earth's ecosystems. She will also share how space technologies, from sustainability solutions on the International Space Station to remote sensing innovations, can offer vital tools in combating climate change. Christina joins us to share how space exploration continues to inspire collective action on Earth, and how her organization works to connect the awe of space with tangible efforts to build a better, more sustainable world.

With huge thanks to member Rebecca Puttock of Wanderlux who has connected us with Nicole and Christina via her exclusive partnership, allowing us to to explore how the lessons learned from space exploration can guide us toward a more conscious and climate-resilient future on Earth.
