Stagings Travel Design creates tailor-made travel itineraries with a focus on ethical and regenerative tourism. Led by CEO Aldis Kuskis and his team of travel designers, they curate experiences that go beyond consumption-based tourism to foster meaningful interactions with local communities. Their ethical travel concept emphasises active participation in authentic cultural, volunteer, charitable, and environmental activities that benefit both travellers and destinations. Based in Latvia, they've established the "Before you fly, plant a tree" carbon compensation project in their home country, where 5 euros plants enough trees to offset up to 100kg of CO2. They also support the Sumba Foundation with donations for maps and globes in schools. They maintain a curated shortlist of ethical destinations and work exclusively with accommodation partners holding advanced sustainability credentials, guided by their formal Ethical Travel Manifesto.
