Back due to popular demand, TCTF mentor Portia Hart will be hosting our new format session ‘The Forum’ once every two months for a maximum of twelve members. With a focus on a different topic each time and welcoming a guest speaker to bring their own perspective and expertise, these inspiring small-group sessions are designed to be a safe space where members are free to share their unique points of view and learn together.
July’s session welcomes TCTF Ambassador and founder of Vogo Tours, Harika Parmar, to explore travel’s ‘foodprint’ and how how everyone in the travel value chain can make impactful food choices and reduce the overall footprint of any holiday. With the rise of alternative diets, Harika founded Vogo Tours to curate vegan and vegetarian-focussed trips that are kinder to the planet.
During this discussion, Portia and Harika will cover:
Food systems, supply chains, measuring impact and how to present a low impact menu without turning clients off.
What can agents and DMCS do when selling a trip to manage expectations, and how can they vet the businesses they’re making reservations at.
What questions can they ask, and how to spot the good, the bad and the ugly.
(As numbers are strictly limited to 12 members, if you can no longer make the session, please cancel your booking so that we can offer your space to another member.)
