Storytelling to Connect and Influence

Since time began, humans and storytelling have gone hand in hand. But how do we use storytelling to influence the end consumer, in our day to day work, and make sure it spreads? We welcome author, travel writer, sustainability advocate (and the latest addition to our esteemed panel of experts), Nina Karnikowski, for a session that includes:

  • How to bring our sustainability storytelling to life through character, to humanise our stories.

  • Loosening our storytelling up, to make it more relatable and conversational.

  • Offering the right - and the right level of - detail.

Good storytelling, and influencing, is all about connection. Nina will include examples from her own recent travels and storytelling, of experiences including Saheli Women in northern India, Happy House in the Nepalese Himalayas, and Wukalina Walk in Tasmania, Australia.

Whether we’re talking about social media, visual imagery, writing for web or print, or spoken words, it’s also all about giving the audience as much as possible - actionable information, insights, perspective and hope.
