Senderos is a UK-based representation company working with nature-led travel experiences across Latin America. Founded in 2004 by Simon Heyes, the agency represents a small group of conservation-focused lodges, expeditions and small hotels, many of them long-time pioneers in community and wildlife-led tourism. Spanning the continent from the Costa Rica to Patagonia, their portfolio includes partners such as Lapa Rios in Costa Rica, Hacienda Zuleta in Ecuador, Cristalino Lodge and Ibiti Project in Brazil. Senderos selects partners who actively support habitat protection, cultural heritage and fair local employment, balancing experience with long-term stewardship. Their holistic approach to sustainability is shaped by the 4Cs framework: Conservation, Community, Culture and Commerce. A portion of annual turnover and net profit is donated to charities as well as initiatives such as the LATA Foundation and The Long Run. They also offset emissions from all travel undertaken for work, and actively prioritise partners with verified sustainability credentials, using their platform to help raise the visibility of lesser-known conservation success stories across the region. Senderos is B Corp certified since 2024.
