Sama Sama International
BRAZIL
Sama Sama International is a social enterprise using tourism as a platform for equity and inclusion. Founded by Jayni Gudka, the organisation works with people who have experienced homelessness, displacement or trafficking, supporting them to design and lead their own walking tours. Through a comprehensive support system of training and one-to-one coaching, Sama Sama helps individuals build skills, confidence and creative agency. Current projects include partnerships with Unseen Tours in London and Casa Rosa in Brasília, as well as tailored programmes for survivors of modern slavery. With a sustainable business model, all profits are reinvested to widen access to storytelling and employment through tourism. The work has been recognised by the LATA Responsible Tourism Awards and supported by the Mayor of London's Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm.
