Rockhouse Hotel is an award-winning, 40-room boutique hotel nestled in the volcanic cliffs of Jamaica’s Pristine Cove on the island’s West End, featuring iconic rustic-chic villas made with stone and thatched roofs that overlook the blue Caribbean Sea. The property, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, is home to a world-class spa and bathhouse as well as three acclaimed restaurants — Rockhouse Restaurant, Pushcart Restaurant & Rum Bar and the Pool Grill & Bar — where guests can enjoy authentic Jamaican cuisine, fresh cocktails and juices.

In 2025, Rockhouse was awarded a MICHELIN Key, a new honor recognizing hotels that offer truly exceptional stays, with its One Key distinction signifying “a very special stay.” Rockhouse offers a range of immersive activities and programming, including a two-hour Psilocybin Soundbath experience and a candle-making workshop.

Rockhouse’s commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism has served as a guiding pillar over the years and they have implemented pioneering practices to reduce their footprint. They recently debuted a new hydroponic farm in a 4,500-square-foot greenhouse, which is situated alongside their plant nursery, woodworking studio, and candle and spa product manufacturing facility. The hotel’s charitable arm, the Rockhouse Foundation, is dedicated to improving childhood education for children in Jamaica and has invested over $12M USD to date in the Negril school system. A current initiative focuses on funding a path through high school for children with disabilities at the Savanna-la-Mar Inclusive Infant Academy, which has been built from the ground up by the Foundation.

In celebration of Rockhouse’s 50th anniversary in 2024, owner Paul Salmon and his team created Rockhouse: The Book, a dynamic coffee table book of stunning imagery, archival photos, historical details and engaging storytelling from the hotel and Negril throughout the last half-century; they also debuted Rockhouse Rum, a limited edition single barrel, single estate Jamaican rum in partnership with Worthy Park Estate. Sister hotel, Skylark Negril Beach Resort, a vibrant 43-key boutique hotel, is located nearby along the famous white sand Seven Mile Beach.
