Exploration Travel is a DMC creating journeys across Thailand with a focus on lesser-known places and experiences that help travellers connect with the country beyond the well-trodden path. Founded by Edwin Briels, the company brings together local knowledge, curiosity and a commitment to responsible tourism to create trips that offer a deeper understanding of Thailand and the people and places within it.

Beyond its work in Thailand, Exploration Travel has longstanding ties to Myanmar, where Edwin and his team have continued to support local communities through an incredibly difficult period. Their former office was converted into a mental health centre and is now home to Counselling Corner Myanmar, Myanmar’s first free walk-in mental health counselling centre, supporting more than 3,000 people each month.
