In Zimbabwe, discarded glass bottles are being transformed into something beautiful. Greenline Africa's Greenglass Youth Initiative collects waste glass from hotels, restaurants and tourism businesses — and turns it into stunning handcrafted products sold in resorts, lodges and markets across the country. Around 12 young people are learning cutting, design, glass art and entrepreneurship along the way, building real skills and real futures. It's circular economy in action: reducing pollution while creating livelihoods and supporting sustainable tourism.
